Overview

Shopfront is operated by VAMSHIAIG LLP (LLPIN ADA-3636), registered at No. 010301, Shriram Chirping Woods, HSR Layout, Bangalore South, Bangalore – 560102, Karnataka, India. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean VAMSHIAIG LLP. By creating an account, visiting, or ordering through the service you agree to be bound by these Terms of use, including the policies referenced here. If you do not agree to them, you may not use the service. We may update these terms by posting changes to this page; your continued use after a change means you accept it.

Section 1 — What the service is

Shopfront lets a small business publish a storefront — a catalogue customers can order from — and gives the owner a dashboard to manage those orders. We provide the software. We do not make, own, price, sell, stock, or deliver any of the goods listed on a shop.

Section 2 — We are not a party to the sale

An order placed on a shop is a contract between the shopper and that shop. Payment happens directly — cash on delivery, or UPI paid into the shop's own account — and we never handle or hold that money. Questions about an item, an order, a price, a delivery, a cancellation or a refund for goods are between the shopper and the shop. See the Cancellation & Refund policy.

Section 3 — Online store terms

By using the service you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or that you have given us the consent of a parent or guardian. You may not use the service for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, nor violate any laws in your jurisdiction, and you must not transmit any worm, virus, or code of a destructive nature. A breach of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access.

Section 4 — If you run a shop

• Keep your catalogue, prices, hours and contact details accurate and current.
• Sell only goods you are legally allowed to sell, and fulfil the orders you accept. You are responsible for your own tax, licensing and statutory obligations (GST, FSSAI and the like).
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you suspect it has been compromised.
• Do not use the service to deceive customers or to publish unlawful content.
• Provide current, complete and accurate account information, and keep it up to date so we can contact you as needed.

Section 5 — Free and Pro

The core of the service — publishing a shop, taking orders, UPI and cash on delivery, and the customer order tracker — is free. New shops also get a 30-day trial of the Pro convenience features. Pro is an optional subscription (currently ₹199/month) that unlocks additional owner tooling. Prices and features are subject to change; a change to what you already pay for will be signposted before it takes effect. We are not liable for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the service or of Pro. Section 6 — Accuracy of information

We are not responsible if information made available on the service is not accurate, complete or current; it is provided for general information and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for a decision. Occasionally there may be typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing or availability, which are the responsibility of the shop that published them. We may correct any error and update information at any time without prior notice, but are under no obligation to do so.

Section 7 — Your content

The shop details, catalogue and photos you upload remain yours. You grant us the permission needed to host and display them as part of running your storefront, and you confirm you have the right to use what you upload and that it infringes no one else's rights.

Section 8 — Submissions and feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or other feedback, you agree we may use it without restriction and without any obligation to keep it confidential, to compensate you, or to respond. Reviews you leave on a shop are public, must concern a real order, and must not be unlawful, abusive, or misleading; we may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

Section 9 — Acceptable and prohibited use

You must not use the service, or its content: for any unlawful purpose, or to solicit unlawful acts; to infringe our or anyone else's intellectual property; to harass, abuse, defame or discriminate against anyone; to submit false or misleading information; to upload viruses or malicious code; to collect or track other people's personal information; to spam, phish, spider, crawl or scrape; or to interfere with or circumvent the security of the service. We may suspend or remove a shop or account, or terminate access, for any of these.

Section 10 — Third-party links and tools

The service relies on third-party providers (see the Privacy policy) and may link to third-party sites we do not control. Such tools and links are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty; we are not responsible for their content or practices. Please review a third party's own terms and policies before relying on it.

Section 11 — Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and it is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, VAMSHIAIG LLP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for the acts of a shop or a shopper. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Section 12 — Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VAMSHIAIG LLP, and its partners, officers, agents and employees, from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Section 13 — Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions stay in force. These terms, together with the policies referenced here, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.

Section 14 — Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account — see deleting your account. We may end or suspend access for a breach of these terms. Obligations incurred before termination survive it.

Section 15 — Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
